Adorable pic, and it reminds me of an incident on ABC-News where Kirk Cameron and fellow idiocy advocate Ray Comfort tried to prove the existence of god by challenging evolution in an open debate with two atheists. To try and prove that transitional species were impossible, they presented chimera-like creatures just like this, IE: the Crocoduck. You can guess where it went from there.
Unfortunately for Cameron and Comfort, the audience consisted mostly of intellectuals interested in a REAL debate with actual credible facts. About half-way through the debate, it became clear that neither Ray or Kirk had any clue what they were even talking about. The audience was intellectual but many were religious as well, and all the two did was insult the intelligence of everyone in the church.
The chimera as a transitional missing-link is a popular tool used by creationists. But even Darwin himself warned against looking for creatures that were biologically impossible and instead look for basal creatures in the fossil record that serve as a common ancestor to existing creatures. It's worked wonders for evolutionary science and taxonomists to this date.
damn...if u could create all those creatures in real...your petshop would have its own island D= i want one of those...focks(im glad u didnt take a name variation like...cox or ficken(it means f*** in german))
